We are back again Kansas City! The Debra Frazier Foundation 4 Hope’s 18th annual Breaking the Sickle Cell Cycle Walk is set! September 16, 2023 at Sunnyside Park from 9am-2pm. This event is for survivors, friends and family, supporters and anyone who is or has felt the effects of Sickle Cell.  

 

This event helps raise desperately needed funding for families who struggle with the day-to-day effects of Sickle Cell and its prohibitive nature.  The Foundation focuses on not only raising awareness, but providing supportive services that lighten the weight that sickle cell brings to the body.  We focus on the mind, body, and spirit to provide the kind of support that makes a difference and educates everyone with sickle cell and those in the broader community with the knowledge of  how debilitating this disease can be for young children and adults and what is needed to support them.
